In a separate bowl, whisk granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vegetable oil together.
Add eggs one by one, then whisk in vanilla and pumpkin puree.
Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, stirring gently.
Fold in chocolate chips, reserving some for topping.
Pour batter into the prepared pan, top with reserved chocolate chips.
Bake for 55-65 minutes, cool in pan for 15 mins, then transfer to a rack to cool completely.
