Instructions

  • Whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves in a bowl.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vegetable oil together.
  • Add eggs one by one, then whisk in vanilla and pumpkin puree.
  • Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, stirring gently.
  • Fold in chocolate chips, reserving some for topping.
  • Pour batter into the prepared pan, top with reserved chocolate chips.
  • Bake for 55-65 minutes, cool in pan for 15 mins, then transfer to a rack to cool completely.
